Establishment Background
The North American Taiwan Chambers of Commerce Association was established in 1987. It is a non-profit industrial and commercial organization . The main members are excellent business people from Taiwan who have immigrated to North America . They hope that through the strength of the group association. The North American business community has an important position . Its objectives are as follows : 1. Promote economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between members and the North American business community . 2. Promote business contacts and friendship between members and members . III. Promote members in North America Establishing a professional image of business in the society . IV . Promoting mutual investment and trade exchanges between members and Taiwan’s economic and trade departments and industrial and commercial enterprises .
北美洲台灣商會聯合會成立於1987年，是一個非營利的工商團體。其主要成員為移居北美、在商界表現卓越的台灣人士；該會致力於透過集體的力量，確立北美台商在當地商界的重要地位。其宗旨包括：一、促進會員與北美商界之間的經貿交流與合作；二、增進會員間的商務聯繫與情誼；三、提升會員在北美社會的專業商業形象；四、推動會員與台灣經貿部門及工商企業之間的相互投資與經貿往來。。
Mission Statement
The purpose of the North American Taiwan Chambers of Commerce Association is : The representatives of the local chambers of commerce in the municipal, county government, state and economic governance and national legislation do fight for their rights aspects of business . Second, representatives of business and Area Chambers of Commerce to resolve disputed the Community industry and commerce, financial problems , the members have a big investment in space career . Third, to strengthen the field of regional chambers of commerce in business , and promote possible to increase revenue through economic plan . Fourth, strengthen find and correct hinder business expansion and community growth ills . Fifth, strengthen the Chamber of commerce community regional functions and social , commercial solutions .
宗旨與主要目標
北美洲台灣商會聯合會（TCCNA）的宗旨如下：第一，代表各地商會，在市政、縣政、州政及國家立法層面爭取並維護工商界的權益。第二，代表工商界及各地區商會，協調解決工商及財務糾紛，並為會員拓展事業與投資空間。第三，加強各地區商會間的業務聯繫，並透過經濟計畫促進創收。第四，致力於發現並消除阻礙商業擴張與社區發展的弊端。第五，強化商會在社區中的區域功能，並提供社會與商業問題的解決方案。
TCCGH 成立背景
Establishment Background
In the 1980s, a growing number of Taiwanese entrepreneurs and professionals came to Houston, contributing significantly to the region’s economic development and business community.
As the Taiwanese community expanded, the need for stronger networking opportunities, resource sharing, and mutual support became increasingly apparent.
In response, a group of dedicated community leaders established a platform to foster collaboration, cultural connection, and business development among Taiwanese professionals in Houston.
The Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston (TCC Houston) was officially founded on May 31, 1987, with Dr. C. C. Yang serving as its inaugural President.
在1980年代，越來越多台灣人來到休士頓發展事業，在當地經濟復甦中扮演重要角色。
然而當時交流有限，資源不足，因此一群有心人士決定建立平台，促進合作與支持。
休士頓台灣商會於1987年5月31日正式成立，並由楊朝諄先生擔任首任會長。

TJCCGH 成立背景
Establishment Background
Taiwanese Junior Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston (TJCCGH) was jointly founded by a group of young people in the Houston area who love Taiwan and care about the development of the overseas Taiwanese community. The organization aims to unite the strength of local Taiwanese youth, cultivate future leaders with a strong sense of social responsibility, and preserve and pass on Taiwanese culture. Under the promotion and leadership of the Senior Adviser, Overseas Community Affairs Council, Ms. Elaine Tao and many senior members of the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston (TCCGH), these ideas and preparatory efforts gradually took shape.
On November 4, 2023, the association was officially founded under the witness of Minister of the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC), Republic of China (Taiwan), Hsu Chia-ching, with Mr. David Chen serving as the founding president. In the same year, it joined the Taiwanese Junior Chamber of Commerce of North America (TJCCNA), opening a new chapter in serving the overseas Taiwanese community, developing young leaders, and promoting Taiwan–U.S. exchange.
休士頓臺灣青商會由一群熱愛臺灣、關心僑社發展的休士頓青年共同發起，希望凝聚在地臺灣青年力量，培養具社會責任感的未來領袖，並傳承臺灣文化。在僑務委員陳逸玲女士及多位臺商會前輩的推動下，籌備工作逐步成形。
2023年11月4日，本會於徐佳青委員長見證下正式成立，由陳第元先生擔任創會會長，同年加入北美洲臺灣青商總會（TJCCNA），開啟服務僑社、培育青年領袖、促進臺美交流的新篇章。
Mission Statement
Taiwanese Junior Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston (TJCCGH) is a Taiwanese-American organization whose mission is to engage young Taiwanese professionals and entrepreneurs by providing resources to educate its members in mainstream integration that enhances its members’ networking skills and circle to create business opportunities, and to promote Taiwanese cultural awareness.
